I’ve always been quite free-spirited! I never planned anything extensively and was quite happy taking life as it comes. This “almost” stress free approach that allowed freedom throughout my days was more of a natural approach and I couldn’t tell you that I consciously made a decision to live that way! It was just the way things were in my life. It wasnt until I decided to make a few improvements in my life that I understood the need and importance of a routine.
I became motivated to improve my life. I’m not sure exactly why but im sure most people discover on a certain day, that life “could get better”! After watching a few YouTube videos and listening to some inspiring podcasts, I learnt the value of creating and implementing a routine. So I bought a diary and began looking at the different occurences throughout my day. This meant delegating time slots for the gym, work, family time, and personal development. Since then I have been able to complete my tasks without overlooking them and this even provided the opportunity to delve deeper into my routine and scrutinise aspects!
Implementing a routine into my life has been one of my best decisions and ive gone from feeling like the lost wanderer… to a productive human being. I highly reccomend this step to anybody starting their journey of self-development.
